What Are Dermal Fillers?
Dermal fillers are made from hyaluronic acid ( HA), hyaluronic acid is naturally produced by your body. The use of dermal fillers can help to eliminate wrinkles, replace volume loss of the temples, cheeks, and lips. Dermal fillers can reduce the appearance of deep and heavy folds of the face. It can also be used to shape/contour the face, add highlights, and fill in dips and shadows to produce a makeup free look.
Areas Treated With Dermal Fillers
Temple filler
As we begin to age, our temples get hollow and sink in due to fat loss. This is a vital area to treat in order to restore balance and facial harmony. It allows for a more smooth transition from the upper to the mid and lower face. Hyaluronic acid fillers and collagen producing fillers such as Sculptra and Radiesse are used in this area.
Tear Trough aka Under Eyes
Under eye filler has become a popular treatment that can make your eyes look brighter and appear more awake. Dermal filler is placed in the tear trough to help fill in hollowness. The mid face needs to be treated often to help add support to the under eyes. Clients that are not candidates for under eye fillers can be treated with EZ Gel Plasma Filler using their own blood and platelet rich plasma.
Cheek Contouring & Lifting
Fillers are used to lift and contour the cheeks, while giving a natural highlight and contour to the cheek bones. This treatment also diminishes the appearance of nasolabial folds (laugh lines). This helps to restore volume loss to the face and reduce the appearance of tiredness under the eyes.
